Award-winning independent PR and digital agency, Spider, has retained its long-standing client Peperami, for the 6th year in a row.

Following a competitive pitch against six leading PR and Social Media agencies within the industry, Spider has come out on top.

In 2023, Spider will deliver a retained PR and social media programme, alongside creative campaigns to drive fame and earned media for the brand.

As a 40-year-old business, Peperami continues to produce a diverse range of meat snacks targeted at young adults and families. The brand has recently diversified its range and entered the vegetarian market launching its Vegerami Chick’nless Bites and Vegerami stick range.

Since working with Peperami, Spider has helped the brand become a £100m business and achieved industry recognition for several of the campaigns they have worked on together.

This includes the recent Peperami Wedding campaign in collaboration with creative agency, Forever Beta, to support the new brand ethos – ‘we all go a bit Peperami’.

The contract renewal comes at an exciting time for Spider who has recently appointed new MD, Amy Williams. With her solid background in sectors key to Spider’s portfolio and with an exceptional ability to run successful teams, Amy takes over the responsibility of growing the agency and consolidating its unique proposition of guaranteed PR and social media accountability.

Charlotte Clarke, Director at Spider, lead the pitch having worked on the brand since 2016.
